It enhances natural color and grain without leaving a glossy surface coating. It penetrates like an oil then dries to a durable solid that is resistant to water, alcohol, and oils. Additionally, Hope’s Tung Oil is the “best of the best” pure Tung oil grades. Overall, the goal is to saturate the surface, allow to penetrate, and then remove all oil from the surface before allowing to dry.
